The seminar gathered experts in the field of property valuation, as well as representatives of legislative and professional institutions, with the aim of exchanging knowledge and following current trends in the sector.</p><p data-start="549" data-end="966">Lectures were delivered by <strong data-start="576" data-end="703">Željko Uhlir, M.Sc., Dipl.Eng. </strong>(State Secretary at the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets) and <strong data-start="709" data-end="886">Branimir Majčica, MSc in Land Management </strong>(Deputy for Real Estate Valuation and Inventory of City Property at the City Office for Asset Management and Housing, City of Zagreb) — both distinguished experts and authors in the field of real estate valuation.</p><p data-start="968" data-end="1076">During the seminar, several key topics were addressed that increasingly influence the daily work of valuers:</p><ul data-start="1078" data-end="1670"><li data-start="1078" data-end="1203"><p data-start="1080" data-end="1203"><strong data-start="1080" data-end="1121">ESG criteria in real estate valuation</strong> – challenges and opportunities of their integration into valuation methodologies;</p></li><li data-start="1204" data-end="1335"><p data-start="1206" data-end="1335"><strong data-start="1206" data-end="1242">National affordable housing plan</strong> – legislative initiatives that will affect supply and demand on the market in the long term;</p></li><li data-start="1336" data-end="1511"><p data-start="1338" data-end="1511"><strong data-start="1338" data-end="1444">The impact of energy renovation and the presence of elevators on the market value of residential units</strong> – results of recent analyses conducted in several Croatian cities;</p></li><li data-start="1512" data-end="1670"><p data-start="1514" data-end="1670"><strong data-start="1514" data-end="1543">Special property features</strong> – the importance of correct identification and inclusion in valuation in order to achieve sustainable and transparent results.</p></li></ul><p data-start="1672" data-end="2030">For us at <strong>Arvio</strong>, participation in such seminars represents a valuable opportunity for <strong>professional development and knowledge exchange</strong> with colleagues from the profession. Its members share a commitment to the development and implementation of reliable, regulation-compliant, and market-relevant AVM solutions for the residential property sector.</div>

							<p data-start="481" data-end="950">The 28th scientific and professional conference <strong><em data-start="529" data-end="555">Financijsko tržište 2025</em></strong>, organized by the Croatian Banking Association (<em data-start="604" data-end="628">Hrvatska udruga banaka</em>), took place in Opatija on May 22 and 23. Once again, the event gathered numerous experts from the financial and economic sectors. Our participation in this important event provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge, follow current trends and contribute to the ongoing dialogue about the future of the financial market.</p><p data-start="952" data-end="1239">Over the course of two days, the conference addressed key macroeconomic challenges shaping both the domestic and global financial landscape. Particular focus was placed on adapting to new regulatory requirements, the digitalization of services and the development of capital markets.</p><p data-start="1241" data-end="1543">The first day focused on the role of banks as engines of economic growth, with discussions centering on lending, investment and upcoming regulatory measures. It was noted that a certain slowdown in lending activity is expected, alongside adjustments aimed at more sustainable and balanced development.</p><p data-start="1545" data-end="2007">The second day focused on strategic directions for the development of the capital market up to 2030. Specific initiatives were presented to support stronger regional integration, broader involvement of institutional and retail investors, and greater public interest in capital market participation. Participants also discussed the challenges of implementing European regulations and the need to balance digital transformation with a personalized approach to clients.</p><p data-start="2009" data-end="2336">Despite the unusually cloudy weather for late May in Opatija, the conference atmosphere remained dynamic and constructive. A shared conclusion was that the Croatian banking sector continues to demonstrate strong stability, openness to innovation, and responsibility in adopting new technologies and responding to market trends.</p><p data-start="2338" data-end="2494">We thank the organizers, speakers, and all participants for a well-executed conference, and we look forward to continued collaboration in the years to come.</p>						</div>

<p class="" data-start="1028" data-end="1351">A particularly interesting panel discussed mid-sized banks, which, despite having fewer resources than the largest players, possess a crucial advantage – agility, local expertise, and a more personal approach to clients. These strengths help them remain resilient and relevant in an increasingly complex market environment.</p>
